ABOUT ME
BACK TO YOU CHIROPRACTIC & REHAB

Back To You Chiropractic & Rehab is a clinic in the Clifton Moor area of York, in the heart of Yorkshire. I aim to help people from all walks of life regain mobility, live pain-free, and enjoy life to the fullest. I use hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, and a lifelong love of sports and physical activities to facilitate and inspire my patients' improvement of musculoskeletal issues and overall health and well-being.
I have worked in the health and fitness landscape for many years, starting in 2003 when I graduated from York St John University with a BA (Hons) in Sports Studies & Physical Education. Soon after, I completed gym instructor and personal trainer qualifications before moving to London and working as a personal trainer for a major gym company.
I eventually moved back North to work for Nuffield Health as a Junior Physiologist. I was in charge of a team of personal trainers and health advisors and personally carried out health screenings for over 800 members, checking everything from height and weight to cholesterol and glucose readings. During this time, I gained further qualifications in kettlebell training, Olympic weightlifting, and Assessing and teaching gym instructors.
After a break from the fitness industry, I returned to study Sports Massage Therapy to level 4 before starting my journey into Chiropractic, initially studying at McTimmoney Chiropractic College, based in Manchester. This initial training in the gentle, holistic, protocol-based form of Chiropractic helped shape the way I practice today. Due to unforeseen global issues, I was forced to restart my training at Teesside University, graduating with an MSci Chiropractic with First Class honours. This blend of education and chiropractic styles has given me a broad spectrum of treatment methods to aid your recovery and continued musculoskeletal health. But education never stops and I have recently completed further education in rehab coaching and aim to do many more courses in the coming months.
I strongly believe that movement, strength, and fitness are the winning combination for not only becoming pain-free but also truly thriving and enjoying life to the fullest."
"I believe in a holistic approach to wellness, focusing not only on the treatment of symptoms but also on addressing the underlying causes of discomfort and immobility.
During my time in the clinic, I have helped people from all walks of life, from office workers to sports people. Some highlights include helping national-level judo players, a four-time world record holder and a nationally ranked strong woman.
